The Peterbilt 579 is a Class 8 aerodynamic conventional sleeper truck designed for long-haul efficiency. The 2021 model is available with PACCAR MX-13, MX-11, or Cummins X15 diesel engines producing between 370 and 605 hp and up to 2,050 lb-ft of torque. GVWR is rated to 80,000 lbs with GCWR of 220,000 lbs. Sleeper configurations range from 40 to 76 inches. The 579 features Peterbilt's SmartNav integrated display with optional EPIQ interior package.
