The Kenworth T800 is a Class 8 vocational and heavy-haul conventional truck used for dump, mixer, logging, and severe-service work. It is powered by PACCAR MX-13 or Cummins X15/ISX15 diesel engines producing up to 605 hp and 2,050 lb-ft of torque. GVWR reaches 92,000 lbs with GCWR capability up to 250,000 lbs for heavy-haul configurations. Short vocational wheelbases (from 173 inches) suit mixer and dump bodies, and an Allison 4500 RDS automatic is available for severe-duty cycling alongside the Eaton Fuller 18-speed manual. Kenworth phased the T800 out around 2021 in favor of the T880, but it remains widely represented in the used vocational market. Day cab and 38/52-inch sleeper configurations are available. Base MSRP historically ran from $130,000 to $185,000 depending on powertrain and spec.
